本文研究高层建筑结构弹塑性动力问题，先利用qr法建立了结构线性动力方程及弹塑性动力方程，然后利用样条无条件稳定算法求解了动力方程，最后利用c语言编写了相应的计算程序，计算了一些例题和分析了一个工程实例。 qr法在理论上及方法上不用有限元法及流动法则，避免了这些传统方法在分析非线性问题时所带来巨大困难的缺陷。计算结果表明，这种方法不仅计算简便，而且精度高，收敛速度快，是一种经济有效的新方法。
