本文首次采用倾斜垂直结构的人造热带气旋作为初始涡旋，试验b和试验bt以及试验nb的模拟结果对比发现，前者对9806号热带气旋登陆前后的运动路径、中心气压、降水分布和初始结构的模拟能力优于后两者，因此，具有倾斜垂直结构的人造热带气旋比正压结构的人造热带气旋更适合于作为模拟中纬度运动的热带气旋的初始涡旋，从而提出解决该类热带气旋初始化问题的一种新思路。
