百科释义

山墙是建筑两个侧面上部成山尖形的横墙，也称作规壁、鹅头、栋头、圆仔头、归壁、大规壁，而“规”字是指弧形的曲线。此外日本史学家藤岛亥治郎在其《台湾の建筑》一书中将这种结构称为马背，有可能是“马脊”之误。
