本研究以大棕蝠( bigbrownbat , eptesicusfuscus )为模型，利用ic声调组构排列成同频层这一结构特点，突破单电极记录和检测神经元的方法，同时推进两单电极至一个同频层或两个同频层的两个不同神经元，试图从细胞水平直接比较两个具有相同和不同最佳频率的神经元声信号的加工处理特征、以及它们之间的相互关系，以期窥探它们在对同一声信号处理过程中的整合奥秘，并以此为基础分析和探讨背景噪声条件下中枢神经元声反应特征与神经调制的关系，以期进一步了解中枢听神经元声信号提取的机制。
