为达到研究目的，本文首次以喀拉喀什河和玉龙喀什河沿岸阶地的幔源重砂矿物(单斜辉石、铬尖晶石类矿物、钛铁矿以及石榴石)为研究对象，结合钾镁煌斑岩等区内已发现的幔源岩石及其中地幔物质对该区地幔物质的组成、古生代岩石圈地幔特征、岩石圈热状态以及该区金刚石成矿地幔地质条件做了尝试性的研究工作。
