Firstly it gives a synthetically comment to the study and application of data mining technology ; secondly it briefly summarize the application of environmental information management technology in our country ; thirdly it proposes the application scheme of data mining technology in environmental information management , and relatively detailed discusses the steps such as setting up of data warehouse , data pretreatment and choice of the algorithm ; fourthly it has a detailed study and deeply analysis combining the medical waste information management current situation in tianjin ; at last it makes the first step study theoretically on the application of data mining to discover knowledge from spatial information 本文主要研究“数据挖掘技术在环境信息管理中的应用” 。论文首先对数据挖掘技术研究与应用进行了综合评述；然后对我国目前应用的环境信息管理技术做了简要总结；结合环境信息的特点，提出数据挖掘技术在环境信息管理中的应用方案，其中比较详细地研究了数据仓库的建立、数据预处理、算法选择等问题；结合天津市医疗废物信息管理现状进行了具体研究和深入分析；最后对应用数据挖掘技术发现空间信息中的知识从理论上作了初步探讨。
