Directing towards the requirement of topology management in the campus networks , the paper mainly researches into the network management protocol and relative technologies and the algorithms of network topological discovery , designs and implements a algorithms of network topological discovery which combines snmp , arp with icmp 针对校园网网管中拓扑管理的需求，本文对网络管理的协议及其相关技术，以及网络拓扑发现的实现原理进行了研究，设计并实现了一种将snmp协议与arp协议以及icmp协议相结合的网络拓扑自动发现算法。
