The initiative was also a response to reduced faculty budget and the number of student places over the past five years , which had lead to a situation where a number of departments in the faculty had only 3 to 4 teachers . with a heavy administrative workload on top of their teaching and research commitments , this situation was untenable in the long run 这项行动同时是为了因应过去五年学院备受削资及学额减少，个别部门的教学人员数目因而只得三至四位的情况；长远来说，教学人员难以在教学及研究工作之上，再承担沈重的行政工作。
Master reminds disciples of the concepts to be embraced and guidelines to be followed on the spiritual path , emphasizing that spiritual attainment is the only worthy goal and the top priority of human existence . it is not enough to simply pray daily for material comfort or smooth solutions to our problems ; we must also practice until we are one with god and know that we are god . paying excessive attention to material possessions is not only onerous , but also lowers our spiritual level and greatly hampers our progress in meditation 师父提醒同修，在修行的路上应抱持的理念以及应注意之处：灵修的成果才是人生最值得追求的目标，时时都要把它摆在第一位每天只祈求物质的舒适或顺利解决问题是不够的，必须修到和上帝同一体，知道自己就是上帝过度注重物质，不但让我们觉得很沈重，而且会拉低灵性等级，打坐很难进步吃太多，打坐会坐不定，吃八分饱就好，这样下一顿饭才会更香甜我们必须尽到家庭的责任，修行才会进步。
During the last lunar new year holiday , i suffered career setbacks that placed a heavy burden on my family and me , and the resulting financial problems seemed far too much for me to deal with . this experience was a heavy mental blow , and i thought of running away from society for the rest of my life 去年的春节来临时，由于弟子工作上的不顺，使自己及家人背负了沈重的负担，尤其是经济上的问题，已经到了我无法承受的地步，精神因而受到了严重的打击，当时弟子准备以逃避社会的方式来度日。
The same luggage became heavier . even your feet became heavier , got swollen with this snow , soaking into your shoes . didn t matter what kind of shoes you had , the snow can managed to get in and soaked your feet . you know , like the way you soak bread in water , it becomes double the size 我没办法带很多东西，我几乎连自己都拖不动了；当你爬得愈高，它就变得愈重，同样的行李却变得更重似的，连你的脚都变得更沈重，因为雪水浸湿了鞋子，脚肿起来，不论穿那一种鞋子都一样，雪水都一样会跑进去，把脚浸湿，就像把面包泡在水里一样，会变成原先的两倍大。
