At that time , ananda had not yet attained the level of a perfect arhat . he still had " leaks " - dark and gloomy sides . he had not been cleansed and had yet to attain one hundred percent purity 阿难那个时候还不是无漏阿罗汉，还有漏漏就是黑黑暗暗的地方，还没有洗乾净还没有证果还没有百分之百完全单纯乾净还有凡夫的品质还不是完全的圣人。
The compilation of the scriptures marked the end of mahakasyapa s mission of delivering sentient beings . he summoned ananda and said , " when the buddha was about to go into nirvana , he instructed me to pass the method of opening the wisdom eye to you 摩诃迦叶集结经典圆满了以后，度众生的因缘已经圆满，他叫阿难来，说：如来刚刚要入涅盘的时候，有交代我把这个正法眼藏传给你。

" from ancient stories , we know that the life of monastics is the most noble . that s why shakyamuni buddha gave up the whole world and the kingdom 我们看古代的故事，都知道出家的生活是最高尚的，所以释迦牟尼佛放下整个世界整个国家，连?的儿子罗?罗，九岁而已，本来要做国王， ?也带走跟?一起出家，阿难本来可以继承国王， ?也带走，还有?的太太， ?也允许她出家，统统都变成出家人这表示说，做和尚比做国王还好。
In buddhism s surangama sutra , buddha shakyamuni agreed with his fully enlightened disciple , manjushri , when he deemed the divine sound method of meditation to be the only way to nirvana : " all the brothers in this great assembly , and you too , ananda , should reverse your outward perception of hearing and listen inwardly for the perfectly unified and intrinsic sound of your own mind - essence , for as soon as you have attained perfect accommodation you will have attained supreme enlightenment 佛教楞严经记载，释迦牟尼佛的大开悟徒弟文殊师利菩萨认为，静观神圣音流的打坐方法是到达涅盘的唯一途径，释迦牟尼佛表示同意，并说：大众及阿难，旋汝倒闻机，反闻闻自性，性成无上道，圆通实如是，此是微尘佛，一路涅盘门，过去诸如来，斯门已成就。
