Third , the quantization of wavelet coefficients based on the embedded zerotree wavelet ( ezw ) is discussed and some improvement is made to it . finally , this paper brings forward a scalable image coding method based on iwt and the improved zerotree quantization , which can realize lossless to lossy image compression , more simple computing , and higher - quality reconstructed image compared with image coding method based on traditional wavelet transform . the experimental results are satisfying 在此基础上,提出了一种基于整数小波变换和改进零树量化方法的可分级图像编码方法,该方法可以实现图像从完全无损到有损压缩,与基于传统小波变换及零树量化的方法相比,运算简洁,速度快,重构图像质量高,取得了令人满意的效果。
