  因此，加强对我国缺席审判制度的研究，具有重要的理论和实践价值。本文在历史回顾和比较研究的基础上，对我国的缺席审判制度进行了审视；同时借鉴国外的经验，并结合我国司法实践的具体情况，提出了重构我国缺席审判制度的设想：建立一种以一方辩论主义为主体，缺席判决主义为补充的缺席审判制度；同时完善缺席的认定标准、一方辩论判决与缺席判决程序的适用与救济、缺席审判中的证据审查等方面的立法规定，以形成一个完整的制度体系，充分发挥缺席审判制度的功能，实现民事诉讼的价值目标。
